Gas prices in Ohio are up from last week: see how much here


State gas prices rose last week and reached an average of $3.04 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, compared to last week’s price of $2.98 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The state’s average fuel price has risen about 43 cents since last month. According to the Energy Information Administration, gas prices across the state last year fell to $2.61 on January 8, 2024, and rose to $3.69 on April 10, 2023.

A year ago, Ohio’s average gas price was 9% higher at $3.35 per gallon.

The average price of gas in the United States last week was $3.14, putting prices in the state about 3.1% below the nation’s average. The national average gas price rose from last week’s average of $3.1 per gallon.
