‘It was scary’ Parents and students respond after being shot in the parking lot of McEachern High School
McEachern High School in Cobb County went into Code Red lockdown Thursday afternoon afterward Two people were shot in the school parking lot.
“I had a lot of people texting me to make sure I was okay,” Cade Anderson said. Channel 2 Larry Spruill.
Anderson is a junior at McEachern High School. He said he received those text messages after the shooting around 1:30 Thursday afternoon.

Channel 2 News I got a video of a fight between teens. The video showed two teens swinging at each other moments before gunfire and the teenagers stampede.
Police said two teenagers who were not current students at the high school were injured. They have non-life-threatening injuries.
Helicopter News 2 It flew over the scene of the accident on Thursday. Parents were asked to take their children on the road in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“They closed all the roads, and you can’t get to him. It was scary,” Susan Lori said after picking up her grandson Anderson.
Anderson said this It’s not the first time someone has brought a gun to campus.
“A couple of months ago, someone brought an AR-15 rifle to school,” he said.
As for Anderson and his grandmother, they are relieved.
“I’m just ready to go home. It’s been a busy day,” the teen said.
“I’m so happy to have him in the car,” Lowry said.
Police are looking into videos of the fight and shooting. They want to interview these teenagers who were in school during the fighting.
