A violent crash into a house in California was caught on camera


Home surveillance cameras captured two people as they fled the scene of a violent crash at a family home in Riverside County on Sunday.

The horrific collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Madrid Street in Hemet, according to the independent news agency RMG News.

Footage of the crash shows a dark-colored, four-door Honda Accord driving through the brick-and-steel front yard fence and into the residents’ yard before crashing into the home’s garage, causing extensive damage.

Seconds after the car stopped, a woman was seen exiting the rear passenger-side door. With her arms raised in the air, she heard screaming as she fled the scene on foot.

A few moments later, another person was also seen exiting the back door on the passenger side of the vehicle. This person walks slowly across the yard, almost tripping over some debris from the accident while also fleeing the area.

Hemet Police Department officers responded to the home, although it is unclear if the two people in the Honda were arrested after the incident.

It is also unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident or if anyone in the vehicle or home was injured during the accident.
