Overland Park police are searching for the suspect who fired shots at a woman’s car after crashing into it
Police are searching for the suspect who shot at a car after it crashed it Saturday on Overland Park Highway.
Officers responded to the crash Saturday evening in the area of northbound Interstate 35 near the Interstate 635 on-ramp, according to Officer John Lacey, a police spokesman. Overland Park Police Department.
A woman was trying to exit I-635 when a red Audi hit her car from behind. As she pulled onto I-635, she said the male driver pulled out a silver handgun and fired several shots.
No gunfire struck her vehicle, and no one was reported injured, including the other adult passenger and the child in the vehicle.
Overland Park and Mission officers searched the area, but did not find any shots fired or signs of property damage.
