A daytime shooting in Dorchester leaves a hole in a parked car and a crowded laundry
Authorities are investigating a daytime shooting in Dorchester on Thursday.
Officers who responded to the area of 81 Hancock Street around 3:52 p.m. to a report of a shooting found that at least two bullets had struck a parked vehicle and one of them was pinned through a laundry window, according to Boston police.
There were no reports of injuries.
Boston 25 News spoke to a man who was inside the laundry room at the time of the shooting. He says he was putting his clothes in the dryer when he took cover.
When he got out, he saw his car also hit by bullets.
Neighbors were on edge and refused to speak on camera but told us what happened was ridiculous
Hancock Street was briefly closed while officers investigated.
Two people were arrested in connection with the shooting.
No other information was immediately available.
