Louisiana cops say three children die in a fire after their father threatened to burn down the house
Three children were killed in a fire after their mother called 911 and said their father planned to burn down the house, Louisiana officials told media.

They were taken to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries, fire officials said.
While firefighters tried to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring homes, they found a dead child inside the house, according to the administration.

In the Ring video shared by WDSU, a man is seen exiting the home as a fire roars through the back of the house. The video shows him getting into a car parked in the driveway and leaving the place.
The New Orleans Police Department did not immediately respond to McClatchy News’ requests for comment on October 18.
The fire department said that 46 firefighters arrived at the scene. They were able to control the fire about 30 minutes after they were sent to the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
