Police are searching for a suspect in a fatal shooting in Lacey.
Police arrived at the 5,500 block of Chelan Lane after receiving reports of gunshots at 8:52 a.m. Monday.
Officers found a 43-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. They tried to save his life but he was dead when the paramedics arrived.
Police say they have identified the suspect as 42-year-old Scott Matthew Broderick. Broderick is about 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He drives a gray 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with Washington license ASG4385.
Police say Broderick is armed and dangerous, so if you see him, don’t go near him and call 911 instead.
