OpenAI has just sent shockwaves through the tech industry with its announcement Sam Altman is out as CEO -And members of the tech community are freaking out.

Other big voices in tech speculate as to why the board decided it no longer had confidence in Altman’s ability to lead the company.

Some technicians even react to Altman’s departure with utter disbelief.

OpenAI Insider referred to its announcement of Altman’s departure when reached for comment.
For his part, Altman has not yet elaborated on the details of his departure.
